The beach in general
Porto Cristo beach is centrally located in the city, and with the view of the rocky coast, large trees and the marina, it is without a doubt one Mallorca’s most beautiful city beaches.

The beach, with its 350 meters, is quite large, and the whole beach is covered with fine golden sand. The water is shallow, has beautiful turquoise shades and the Z-shaped bay ensures that there are almost never waves. This helps to make the beach very child friendly.

There are two sections on the beach where it is possible to rent sunbeds and umbrellas. Of course, the beach also has the regular facilities such as showers, toilets and a lifeguard on duty who keeps an eye on the swimmers.

If you reach the beach by car, it is possible to park close to the beach. Please note that some of the most central parking spaces come with a fee.

Child friendliness
The water is relatively shallow, and the sand is nice to play in. In high season, however, it can get busy and therefore the space to play is often limited.

Water sports
Pedal boats rental is available directly at the beach. The beautiful bay is absolutely perfect for paddle boards, and they can also be rented near the beach.

Beachfront restaurants
On the road behind the beach there is a broad selection of cafes and restaurants. From Burger King to cozy restaurants with a magnificent view of the beach.

Porto Cristo Mallorca

The holiday resort Porto Cristo
Porto Cristo is a cozy town with a good atmosphere and of course a great beach. Tourism is the main industry, but as one of the few towns in Mallorca, fishing also still plays a significant role. The fishing boats are located side by side with the large, beautiful yachts in the harbor.

During the day there can be a lot of traffic in the city. That’s because one of Mallorca’s top tourist attractions is close to the city: the caves Coves del Drac, which, among other things, hides Europe’s largest underground lake. It is without a doubt a great experience, so we highly recommend a visit to Coves del Drac.

From the harbor there are also several trips by boat, including a giant catamaran and several boats with a glass bottom. The area around the marina is nice to stroll around in, and then there are many nice restaurants.
