Cala Blanca

Cala Blanca mapCala Blanca is located just outside the holiday resort Camp de Mar in the western part of Mallorca. The driving distance to Palma de Mallorca is 30 km.

Please be aware that one of the three beaches in Palma Nova is also called Cala Blanca.

The beach in general
Cala Blanca is located in a small bay with beautiful, untouched scenery. The entire bay is surrounded by mountains that are partially covered in trees.

The beach itself is just 30-40 meters long and a few meters wide. It is covered with gravel/pebbles and a few outcroppings of rock here and there (also in the water).

Cala Blanca beach

There are no facilities near the beach, not even toilets. Parking is possible behind the beach, from where a small gravelly path leads the 100 meter down to the beach.

Child friendliness
With the many rocks on the beach and in the water, Cala Blanca is not child-friendly, especially not for small children. Occasionally families with children do come here, mostly local families that appreciate the fact that the beach is not overrun.

Water sports activities
No kinds of water sports activities are offered at Cala Blanca, but the bay is good for snorkeling.

Beach restaurants
There are no restaurants or bars at the beach. The closest restaurants are located in Camp de Mar and Port d’Andratx.

Holiday resorts nearby
The closest holiday resort is Camp de Mar, which is located one kilometer to the east. It is a quite new holiday resort with a beautiful sandy beach and an 18-hole golf course.

Paguera, a little further to the east, is a larger holiday resort with three lovely beaches. A few kilometers to the west, lies the exclusive resort town of Port d’Andratx, which many famous people have visited over the years. Port d’Andratx is one of the few Mallorcan holiday resorts without a large, sandy beach.

Cala Blanca map
Cala Blanca can be seen inside the little bay, which is in the corner of a larger bay. A little toward the northeast is Cala en Cranc, which resembles Cala Blanca in many ways.
