Sa Calobra is situated in a quite desolate place on the northwest
coast of Mallorca.
The beaches in general
Officially Sa Calobra has one beach but you will find two
beaches. The unofficial beach is right in front of the small village
in the bay La Calobra.
The official beach is situated between
the cliffs where Torrent de
Pareis reaches the sea. Only a few minutes of walk from Sa
Calobra. No services at all at this beach.
Both beaches are small but situated in
stunning surroundings, especially the beach by Torrent de Pareis.
The beaches consists of a mix of
sand, gravel and small stones. The water is very clear and has
different shades of turquoise, in particular by Torrent de Pareis.
The beaches are definitely worth a
visit if you want a special beach experience and is prepared for
less comfort than usual.
Child friendliness
The beaches is less child friendly.
The water is not shallow and there are to much stones for small
children.

Beach restaurants
There are some cafés and restaurants by the unofficial beach in
front of Sa Calobra.
The resort Sa Calobra
Sa Calobra is a nice small village with many daily visits from
tourists that come to visit Torrent de Pareis.
It is possible to reach Sa Calobra
either by car or by boat sailing from
Port de Sóller. Both are a
beautiful nature experience and so is Torrent de Pareis.
