Cala Domingos Grans

Calas de Mallorca beaches
Calas de Mallorca is built around three lovely coves or calas - Cala Domingos Grans, Cala Domingos Petits and Cala Antena.

All three beaches are very beautiful with fine sand and blue/turquoise water.

  Cala Tuent in Mallorca

Newest review: Cala Tuent
Cala Tuent is situated in a scenic landscape with a view to Puig Major, the highest mountain of the Balearic Islands.

The semicircular shingle beach is surrounded by rocky areas with thick pine woods on the top.

Mallorca has the best beach in Europe
S'Amarador was selected as "Best Beach of Europe" in 2008 by the website onbeach.com after comparing over 3000 beaches in Western Europe.

S'Amarador is one of two beautiful beaches in Mondrago Natural Park on the south eastern coast of Mallorca.

The beach is unspoilt and well preserved. It is surrounded by pinetrees and offers a magnificent view over the sea.

We recommend to rent a car during the holiday. This give you the best opportunity to visit a lot of fantastic beaches in Mallorca.

Palma Aquarium

Palma Aquarium
Palma Aquarium is a very good excursion spot on a cloudy or rainy day.

No less than 55 aquariums with 8000 specimens from 700 different species housed in 5 million litres of seawater awaits the visitors.

The 'Big Blue' is Europe’s deepest aquarium where you can almost feel the sharks, rays and other species in the transparent tunnel.

  Western Water Park - Magaluf

Waterparks in Mallorca
There are several good water parks in Mallorca. One of the best is the Western Water Park just outside the resort of Magaluf.

Aqualand El Arenal, close to Palma de Mallorca, is also a very good waterpark. Maybe the best waterpark for older children.

The last large waterpark is HidroPark in Alcudia on the north coast of Mallorca.

Five Mallorcan restaurants are named in the 2011 edition of the prestigious Michelin Guide.

Two restaurants have been awarded one star for the first time, that's Gadus in Cala d'Or and Zaranda in Llucmajor.

They join Tristan in Puerto Portals, Es Raco d'Es Teix in Deia and Es Moli d'En Bou i Sa Coma, who all retain their one Michelin star. Plat d'Or in Palma de Mallorca lost their one star in the new edition.
