  S'Amarador beach - Mallorca

S'Amarador is one of two beautiful beaches in Mondrago Natural Park on the south eastern coast of Mallorca.

The beach in general
S'Amarador is an unspoilt and well preserved beach. The beach is surrounded by pinetrees and offers a magnificent view over the sea.

The beach has fine-grained sand with a bright, white colour. The seawater has a beautiful shade of light blue and is crystal clear.

S'Amarador was selected as "Best Beach of Europe" in 2008 by the website onbeach.com after comparing over 3000 beaches in Western Europe.

The accessibility by car is easy. You can leave your car for free on a big parking area about five minutes from the beach.

The beach can also be reached on foot from Cala Mondrago beach, walking for 400 metres along the coastline.

Child friendly
This beach is perfect for families with children. Fine white sand, space for playing and very shallow water.

Water sports
No water sports. The beach is quiet and peaceful.

Beach restaurants
There is a beach bar on the beach.

Cala Mondrago resort
Cala Mondrago is a secluded and small resort with only a few hotels and it is highly unlikely that Cala Mondrago will ever grow larger.

In 1992 much of the area around Cala Mondragowas declared a Natural Park, thus affording it special protection from future commercial development.
