El
Toro is a small village situated on the south-west coast of Mallorca
just south of the popular resort Santa Ponsa.
The beach in general
The 250 metres long beach of El Toro has numerous names but is best
known as Platja es Toro or Cala Toro.
The golden sand is fine grained and
the sea is usually calm as the beach is protected by the local port,
Port Adriano.
Port Adriano has undergone extensive
modernisation and is becoming more and more popular with the
yachting community.
Visitors arriving by car can park for
free close to the beach.
Child-friendliness
The children usually have good room for playing at the beach and
the water is fairly shallow.

Beach restaurants
There are two restaurants close to the beach.
The resort El Toro
The best known hotel in El Toro is the
four star 'Port Adriano Marina Golf & Spa'.
There are a small number of
restaurants available and basic shopping facilities, including a
supermarket.
For more restaurants, shops, evening
entertainment etc. the larger resort Santa Ponsa is close by.
