Cala Major (Cala
Mayor) is situated only a few kilometres west of Palma de Mallorca.
The resort
was very popular in the early years of mass tourism in Mallorca, but
then its popularity diminished and it most of all became a
residential area. Lately there has been renewed interest in Cala
Major and a lot of money has gone into its redevelopment.
