Banyalbufar - Mallorca
The small village of
Banyalbufar with its 500
inhabitants is situated on the west coast of Mallorca. Close to the
mountain range Serra de
Tramuntana.
The beach in general

Cala
Banyalbufar is beautifully situated in a small bay surrounded by
cliffs and trees. The beach is 100 metres long and narrow.
A part of the beach is covered by
large stones while the rest of the beach consists of gravel. It is
definitely possible to lay down on a towel and the view from the
beach is amazing.
The water has the most fantastic
colours and is crystal clear. You will find stones of various sizes
in the water but the beautiful scenery makes it perfect for a swim.
The sun hits
the beach from about 11 am due to the
high cliffs behind the beach. Because of the cliffs the beach is
accessible only by a steep stairway,
Parking is for free and is close to
the beach. Follow the signs.
Child friendliness

The beach is
not child friendly.
Water sports

None, but the bay is good for diving and snorkelling.
Beach restaurants
None.
The village Banyalbufar
Banyalbufar is a smal and very quiet village on the rocky west coast
of Mallorca. The village has a beautiful view to the mountain range
Serra de Tramuntana and the Mediterranean.
There are a few hotels and restaurants.
Enough for a peaceful holiday - and the village is a
good
starting point for hiking treks.
