Port d’Andratx is located about 30 kilometres west of Palma de Mallorca.

It is one of the most exclusive resorts in Mallorca and several famous people owns a house or an apartment in Port d'Andratx.

Port d'Andratx is known as a resort without a reel beach, but west of the harbour you find the little beach Cala Fonoll.

The beach in general
Cala Fonoll is a small beach, about 60 metres long and 25 metres wide.

The beach is consists of partly sand and partly gravel. In the clear water there are some stones, especially to the right, but it is absolutely possible to go for a swim.

Parking is normally no problem in the streets close to the beach as the beach is little used.

Due to the stones in the water the beach is not very child friendly.

The resort Port d'Andratx
The port of Port d’Andratx's is filled with expensive sailboats and yachts during the summer. Combined with the beautiful buildings, expensive shops, fashionable restaurants and nightclubs it makes Port d’Andratx to one of the most exclusive resorts in Mallorca.

Port d'Andratx is also a good starting point for hiking treks in the amazing landscape around the resort.

Another recommendation is to rent a car and visit some of the beautiful villages in the vicinity, e.g. Valldemossa, Sóller, Lluc or Fornalutx.
 

The largest nearby beach is Camp de Mar which is a very good beach.

Camp de Mar is situated about 5 kilometres east of Port d'Andratx.
