Port de Sóller is situated in the
north-western part of Mallorca on the coastline of 'Serra de Tramuntana'.
The beach in
general

The beautiful bay 'Bahía de Sóller'
has two beaches, one at each end of the bay.
The main beach is a
small sandy strip flanked by restaurants, cafes and seaside shops.
The first part of the beach is quite sandy (top picture), but the
rest is mainly covered with gravel and small stones.
The other beach,
Platja d'en Repic, is just a five minute walk way. This beach is
sandy, but unfortunately with quite a steep slope into the sea.
However, all in all
Platja d'en Repic is the better of the two beaches in Port de Sóller.
Child friendly

None of the beaches are very child friendly.
Water sports

Pedal boats at the city beach.
Beach restaurants

Lovely seafront restaurants, especially at the city beach. Platja
d'en Repic also offers some restaurants.
The city behind the beach
Port de Sóller is situated in the
north-western of Mallorca on the coastline of 'Serra de Tramuntana'
which surrounds the city with steep mountains.
Sóller can be accessed by driving over
the spectacular mountains, through the pay-tunnel or by the
beautiful 'Sóller
Railway' that has connected the town with Palma
de Mallorca since 1912.
