Sa Coma is a modern resort on the east
coast of Mallorca, just a little south of
Cala Millor. These two popular
resorts are only divided by the
peninsula of Punta de n'Amer.
The beach in
Playa Sa Coma is almost one kilometre long and pretty wide. The
beach has fine-grained white sand and the water is very clear.
Sunbeds and umbrellas are available
for hire. Lifeguards are on duty in the summer months.
Behind the beach there is a traffic
free promenade which is partly in the shadows of the palms and pine
trees. The promenade stretches its way all down to Cala Moreya south
Sometimes it is possible to spot dolphins
from the beach.
The fine grained sand is good for children and although the
beach is very popular it usual offers good space for playing.
Pedalos, windsurfing and scuba diving.
A lot of restaurants, cafés and bars along the beach promenade. Many
of them are owned by British who moved to Sa Coma.

Sa Coma is among the most
beautiful resorts in Mallorca. One of the reasons for this is that
it is a relatively new resort.
There's a good range of restaurants in
Sa Coma, especially along the beachfront.
entertainment there is not much evening entertainment in Sa Coma but the more lively Cala Millor is only a few minutes
away in a taxi.
