The beach
The beach in s'Illot is called both Cala Moreya and Platja de s'Illot.
The length of the beach is 350 metres and the width is some 50 metres.

The sand is almost white and very fine. The water is shallow.

Normally, the beach is less crowded than the neighbouring beach of Sa Coma.

Behind the beach there is a wide traffic-free promenade.

Child-friendliness
The beach is very child-friendly. Enough space for playing and shallow water.

Water sports
Pedal boats.

Restaurants at the beach
There are a lot of restaurants and cafés along the beach promenade.

The resort
S'Illot was until mid 1980's a little fishing village. Now it is most of all a relatively quiet resort for couples and families who are looking for a relaxed holiday.

The traffic-free promenade connects s'Illot to the modern purpose built holiday resort Sa Coma.

As you can tell from the photos there are several tall hotels in s'Illot but you will also see some green spaces.
