Playa del Rey - Mallorca

Playa del Rey is located close to the small village of Portals Vells in the south-western part of Mallorca, some 6 kilometres south of Magaluf.

The beach in general
Playa del Rey is beautifully situated deep inside a rocky cove surrounded by a pine grove.

The 30 metres long and 15 metres wide beach offers fine-grained white sand and very shallow water.

Facilities include loungers and parasols. However, if you don't want to pay for a parasol, the pines offer natural protection against the sun.

Child friendliness
The fine-grained sand and the very shallow water make Playa del Rey perfect for families with children.

Water sports
None.

Beach restaurants
A beach bar is offering refreshments.

Resorts close to the beach
The closest resorts are Magaluf to the north and the more unknown El Toro to the west. Both are located some 6 kilometres from Playa del Rey.
