Playa de Muro
is a relatively new
resort development situated at the centre of the beautiful Bay of
Alcudia.
The beach in
general
The 3 kilometre long beach of Playa de Muro is officially devided
into two beaches, sector 1 and 2. Sector 1 is the most central
located beach.
Both beaches have a nice view to the
mountains and very fine sand. The water is clear and shallow. The
probability of waves is a little larger in Playa de Muro compared to
Port d'Alcudia.
Several tour boats sails from the
beautiful wooden pier in sector 1.
Child friendly
The beach is very child friendly. Nice sand, a lot of space for
playing and shallow water.
Water sports
All kinds of water sports including water ski, jet ski and
paragliding.
The snorkelling conditions are poor.
Beach restaurants
Many restaurants and bars along the beach.
Feriebyen Playa de Muro
Playa de Muro
is a relatively new
resort
with large family friendly hotels, several of them with huge
swimming pools.
The lively area around the harbour in
Port d'Alcudia or the old quarter of Alcudia can easily be reached
by taxi or bus.
