West of Palma de Mallorca the beach Cala Major is situated in beautiful surroundings. Beside the beach, Cala Major is also known for the Palacio Marivent and the art museum Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró.

East of Palma de Mallorca Playa de Palma stretches 4-5 kilometres from Can Pastilla to s'Arenal. Playa de Palma is very crowded with tourists, restaurants and bars. The area has around 50.000 hotel beds!
