Mallorca beaches - east coast

The east coast of Mallorca is an area with many fantastic beaches in small coves.

The most famous resort is Cala d'Or, which has five beautiful coves with small sandy beaches. Other very popular beaches are Cala Mondrago and s'Amarador in the national park of Mondragó.

Of course, all of those beaches are very popular and crowded during the summer, especially the beaches in Cala d'Or. A lovely not so crowded beach is Cala Santanyi.    

The biggest resort is Cala Millor, which is a favourite among German visitors. Cala Millor has a fine, long, sandy beach. British visitors favour the neighbouring Sa Coma.

A tip for a day trip is the beach Calo des Moro.
