Magaluf is situated on
the south west coast of Mallorca - seven kilometres from Calviā. The
official name of the beach is Platja de Magaluf.
The beach in
general
Magaluf has a beautiful 900 meters long beach with fine sand and
clear water. The new and very stylish promenade stretches from one
end of the beach to the other. All services at the
beach.
Downside is that the
beach of Magaluf is very crowded during the summer and very noisy.
Child friendly
The beach it self is good for
children
but Magaluf is not the right place for families with small children.
Water sports
All kinds of water sports
including water ski, jet ski, banana-riding, pedal boats and
paragliding.
There is even a water ski training school.
Beach restaurants
Behind the new
promenade there is an array of bustling bars, restaurants and shops.
Magaluf resort
Magaluf is
best-known for its nightlife - it is always party time
in the 100 bars/clubs.
Magaluf is also known as the nightclub capital of Mallorca.
The main attractions
of Magaluf are the very popular 'Aqualand Magaluf' and the great
'Pirates Show' with acrobatics, gymnastics and dancing.
