Es Comú is situated between
Can Picafort in the beautiful bay of Alcudia.
Es Comú is an unspoilt beach situated between the residential areas
of Playa de Muro and Can Picafort.
It is 1500 metres long and some 15 metres wide. The sand is fine and
golden, while the sea is clear and shallow. Strong winds from
the northeast can cause moderate waves.
The beach is beautifully backed by sand dunes which are populated
with junipers and other dune vegetation.
Officially there are no facilities at Es Comu. However, at the
north-western end of the beach you find a nice beach restaurant with
toilets and a car park.
Es Comú is very child friendly, especially in the north-western end
close to the restaurant.
No water sports, but the neighbouring beaches in Playa de Muro and
Can Picafort have a huge range of water sport activities.
There is a restaurant at the north-western end of the beach.
