Cala Sa Nau

Cala Sa Nau mapCala Sa Nau is located on the east coast of Mallorca, some kilometres north of the popular town Cala d’Or.

The beach in general
Cala Sa Nau has a gorgeous location at the end of a 350-metre fjord-like bay in the shape of an S.

The beach is surrounded by light brown and ochre cliffs and graced with a background of pine trees. It isn’t all that big – about 40-50 metres long and 70 metres wide – but it’s rarely packed. The white, fine-grained sand looks picturesque alongside the clear and calm waters.

Sun loungers and parasols are available to rent and the beach even has its own beach bar. You can park free of charge along the road leading down to the beach or all the way down at the beach for a fee.

Cala d’Or is one of the most popular holiday destinations on the east coast, known for its gorgeous town centre and its five charming beaches. The popular Sol Cala d’Or Apartments is located in the heart of Cala d’Or, and within walking distance of all the lovely beaches.

A little further to the north is Porto Colom. The town is smaller than Cala d’Or and its shops and restaurants are more spread out.

Cala Sa Nau map
The map clearly shows that Cala Sa Nau is located deep in a bay with plenty of bends. In fact, the location of the beach means that it does not offer a view of the Mediterranean sea. To the south, you will find a smaller beach by the name of Cala Mitjana and the holiday destination of Cala d’Or.
