Cala Murada

Cala Murada is located on the south east coast of Mallorca between the more well-known resorts of Cala d'Or and Porto Cristo.

Cala Murada beach in general
Cala Murada beach is situated inside a little cove. The right part has low cliffs with some houses on the top.

The sand is mainly fine grained. The water is clear and Cala Murada has been awarded the European Blue Flag for the water quality.

The beach facilities include sun loungers and parasols, showers and toilets. Free parking.

In the back part of the beach, the water of the natural Torrent des Fangar is forming a small lake.

Child friendly
The water is not very shallow. On the other hand, there is plenty of room for the children to play on the beach.

Water sports
Pedal boats.

Beach restaurants
Next to the beach there is a restaurant/bar which has a large terrace.

Cala Murada resort
Cala Murada was originally a fishing village, now there are many newly built apartments and villas in this small and quiet village.

You will find two supermarkets and some restaurants. On Thursdays there is a small market close to the beach.
 

There is a coastal path that leads to the beaches Cala Domingos Grans and Cala Domingos Petits in Calas de Mallorca.
