 Cala Mendia -
Mallorca
The beach Cala Mendia is situated in
the small resort Cala Romantica on the east coast of Mallorca. Three
kilometres south-west of
Porto Cristo.
The beach in general
The beautiful Cala Mendia is 60 metres long but more than 120 metres
wide.
The beach is situated
inside a small bay with low cliffs on both sides. Combined with the turquoise
water the view over the beach is
amazing. The sand is very fine.
There is a large section with sunbeds
and the services also include toilets, showers and lifeguard.
Child friendliness
Cala Mendia offers plenty of space for playing. The water is not
very shallow, yet okay for children. With winds blowing from the
west the waves can get bigger.

Beach restaurants
There is a restaurant in behind of the beach. The restaurants also
serves as a beach bar.
The resort Cala Romantica
Cala Romantica, which also is referred
to as Cala Mandia, is a small and quiet resort. The development
started in the beginning of the 90's and the share of private
holiday homes is higher than average in Mallorca.
