Cala Figuera is situated on the Formentor peninsula in the very north of Mallorca. The popular viewpoint Cap de Formentor is only a few kilometres away.

The beach in general
The beach is located deep within a cove with high mountains on both sides of the water. A spectacular view.

The beach has some spots with sand but most of the beach consists of gravel and small stones. Cala Figuera is from time to time partly covered by seaweed.

The water is clear but with a lot of small/large stones. No services.

The signposting towards the beach is good and there is a large free parking place about 1,4 kilometres from the beach. There is a 15-20 minuttes rough walk from the parking place to the beach.

Not child friendly.

Water sports
None, but once there try snorkelling along the cliffs.

Restaurants by the beach
None.

The resort Cala Figuera
Cala Figuera is not connected to a resort. Port de Pollensa is the closest larger resort some 13-14 kilometres to the west.
 

You can also see the road MA-2210, which stretches all the way to Cap de Formentor further to the east.

The very beautiful beach Cala Formentor is to the south-west.
