Cala d'Or beaches - Mallorca

The beach in general
Cala d’Or has five beautiful but small beaches:

• Cala Gran (top photo)
• Cala D’Or
• Cala Esmaralda (bottom photo)
• Cala Ferrera
• Cala Serena

All of them are very crowded during the summer. Do not plan to visit these beaches every day for a week or more in Juli/August.

Child friendly
These crowded beaches offers limited space for playing but otherwise the beaches are good for children.

Snorkeling
Very good snorkeling conditions along the cliffs. Crystal clear water and lots of colourful fish!

Water sports  
It is possible to rent pedal boats at Cala Gran and Cala Ferrera. Rent of windsurfing equipment nearby at Cala Esmeralda. Diving from Cala Ferrera.

Beach restaurants
No restaurants in direct connection to the beaches but close to the most of the beaches.

The city behind the beach
Cala d'Or is a charming city. Many tourists but the city is beautiful, clean and no high buildings.

Starting from the southwest on the map the beaches are Cala d'Or, Cala Gran, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Ferrera og Cala Serena.
