Waterparks in Mallorca
There are several good water parks in Mallorca. One of the best is the Western Water Park just outside the resort of Magaluf.

Aqualand El Arenal, close to Palma de Mallorca, is also a very good water park.

The last large waterpark is HidroPark in Alcudia on the north coast of Mallorca. It's the smallest of the three, but perfect if you stay in the northern part of Mallorca.

Palma Aquarium
Palma Aquarium is a very good excursion spot on a cloudy or rainy day.

No less than 55 aquariums with 8000 specimens from 700 different species housed in 5 million litres of seawater awaits the visitors.

The 'Big Blue' is Europe’s deepest aquarium where you can almost feel the sharks, rays and other species in the transparent tunnel.

Cap de Formentor
Cap de Formentor is situated in the very end of the Formentor peninsula. The Majorcans also call this spot 'the meeting point of the winds'.

The 20 kilometres drive from Puerto Pollensa offer several lookout points with spectacular views. The most well-known is Mirador del Mal Pas.

Eventually you reach the lighthouse with even more stunning views, all the way to Menorca on a good day. It is best to arrive early in the day.

Alcudia old town
The old town of Alcudia is the historic centre of Mallorca and one of the most popular attractions on the island.

The town is surrounded by impressive walls with 26 watchtowers and a number of gates. It is possible to walk on top of the walls.

Inside the walls the visitors find charming and well-preserved houses as well as lovely restaurants, cafes and interesting shops. More...
